Las Vegas, NV

Jenny is a fourth year medical student at Touro University Nevada. Prior to medical school, she was actively involved with Pacific Free Clinic to deliver primary health care to the uninsured population of San Jose and with VNCARES to promote cancer screenings in the low-income community of Sacramento. With an interest in community health particularly among the Asian American population, she pursued a Master of Public Health degree in Biostatistics/Epidemiology at University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. Post graduation, Jenny worked as a data analyst at the San Francisco Department of Public Health Hepatitis B Free campaign. She also has a background in cancer research with several paper publications during her time at the UC Davis Cancer Center. With her combined public health and medical experience, Jenny hopes to reduce health disparity among the Asian American community.
